Capacity Dashboard Tutorial
- Welcome everyone to this walkthrough of Southern Star's new capacity dashboard.
- During the next couple of minutes, we will demonstrate the functionality of this new tool.
- If by the end of the presentation you still have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your SouthernStar customer service representative.
- As you open the capacity Dashboard, you will see three tables and a map of your southern star system.
- The two tables to the right of the map will show the operationally available capacity for all three intraday cycles for today as well as timely and evening
- cycles tomorrow for each are locations and active constraints.
- The top table shows locations, and the bottom one shows our active constraint.
- It should be emphasized again that only the active constrain are displayed.
- This operationally available capacity is based on operating capacity less total scheduled quantity matching our operationly available Capacity Report.
- At the bottom of this page, you will find the unsubscribed capacity through the next year for both locations and constraints.
- There are two tabs at the top of the table so you can switch between locations or active constraints This unsubscribed capacity is based on design capacity
- less firm contracted quantities, identical to our unsubscribe capacity report.
- For unsubcribed, capacity the next month column refers to the first calendar day of the month.
- The plus two column refers to the first calendar day of the following month, and so on.
- Let's use September 30th, 2020 as an example.
- Today represents data for September 31st, 2021. Next month would be October 1st 2020, plus two would show unsubscribe capacity for November 1, Now,
- when you select a location in either the operationally available capacity or the unsubscribe capacity table, it will temporarily highlight the location
- on the map so you can see where the locations is on our system.
- As you could see, It also filtered the other table to that location, which lets you see all the information about that specific location at once.
- We have added some filters to help you narrow down the results on the dashboard.
- To get to these filters, click the blue triangle on left side of the page.
- You will be able to filter the locations by pulling area, location type, design capacity, and flow direction.
- We can also filter constraint by flow directions.
- For this demonstration, I will filter for a location in the KH pool, that is an interstate interconnect, has a design capacity of greater than 100,000,
- and is a receipt location.
- Once you're done with the filters, you can click the triangle again to get back to the dashboard.
- You can also pin the filter page by clicking the blue pin in the upper right corner.
- This will allow you to keep it open for easy access.
- As you can see, it has filtered the locations to just showing Cheyenne Plains sanded.
- To reset the filters, you could click the three lines in the upper right corner and then click reset filters.
- This would reload the dashboard.
- Each table can be expanded by clicking the arrows in the upper right-hand corner.
- This will let you see more locations and constraints at once.
- Once you are finished with the expanded view, you can reduce it back to the original size by click the arrow again.
- We also wanted to point out the disclaimer and notes sections located under the system map.
- These sections contain useful information about the capacity dashboard that should be reviewed and can serve as reminders of the makeup of data.
