CSI Access Tutorial

  1. This is the Southern Star CSI Access Form tutorial.
  2. On the CS I homepage, the link to the CSA access form can be found in two locations.
  3. The first is in the quick links dropdown box at the top right of the homepage located here.
  4. Second is on the left side of your screen under informational postings.
  5. Scroll down under the subheading of electronic forms and it's the first option.
  6. Select either link.
  7. Once on Begin by selecting the downward pointing arrow next to the customer field.
  8. This will open a new screen which will allow you to search for your customer information.
  9. You can select between three search criteria.
  10. Customer ID, legal name, and short name.
  11. If you know the CustomerID, enter it into the box and select search.
  12. if you do not, select shortname and begin typing your Customer name Notice how I do not complete the name of my company.
  13. I instead use the percent sign.
  14. You can place this at the beginning or ending of your text to include leading or trailing characters in your search.
  15. Once complete, select search and then double click your customer name below to automatically be taken back to the original screen.
  16. you will then need to fill in the remaining personal and company information to best of knowledge.
  17. The email listed at bottom is the email address that will be associated with your password if you were to get locked out,
  18. as well as any notices you receive from the system.
  19. Please do not include any special characters in your email, address as this could cause you to not receive the System-generated emails.
  20. After filling in the personal information, you'll need to select the contact types or security you want to have access to in CSI system,
  21. this will determine what functions you're able to complete, what reports you can see, and what emails or notifications you receive.
  22. Please note that the contact types you see on the screen now may not be the types that you need.
  23. These are just examples.
  24. If you have selected a contact type of invoicing, you will need to select a preferred invocating method from the drop down box.
  25. if you've selected service request approve or service requests initiate, You will have to complete an electronic contracting agreement as well as an appendix A.
  26. which will be emailed to you by contract administration after you submit the CSI access form.
  27. If you're to be your company's security administrator or if you have any additional comments, type them in the box.
  28. Once completed, select submit.
  29. This warning message is about the electronic contracting agreement due to your selecting service request approved or service requests initiated.
  30. You wish to continue, Select OK.
  31. you will get a green message at the bottom.
  32. You receive a red error message to the button on the screen.
  33. This could be due to your company not having a security administrator set up in our system.
  34. Please do not continue to click submit.
  35. Contact Southern Star Contract Administration or the CSI help desk at number listed at bottom of the access form for more assistance.
  36. When the Access Form is submitted, an email is automatically sent to company security administrators for approval.
  37. The only action required of them is to reply to the message advising if they approve or deny the request.
  38. Their response is sent to Southern Star Contract Administration who finalizes the access request, the initial requester will then receive an email with
  39. their password and login information.
